FINALLY revised the poetry book on dreams and dreaming. I was dissatisfied with one of the poems so I gave it a rewrite. I also finally figured out a title for this book. Contacted the editor about when to send it in for edits.

Put ALL the poems I wrote for the deaf poetry book into one file. Counted the poems and rearranged them so they'd flow better. Did a bit of revising with the poems but not yet revising the whole thing. That's getting saved for another day!

Did some research for the book, End Game, via links from Martha.

Responded to the email from the journalist. Asked for permission to use the photos if they are relevant to the book's subject. Also asked if he'd like to share any of his experiences for the book. (New version of the haunted houses book.)

Got an email from Martha about an article to check out for the book End Game. Made some other notes on additional things to do research on for this book and checked in with Martha about one of them. (Not sure yet if the other things I want to look into will be used in the book so I didn't ask about them yet.)

Learned about something that I could include in the book End Game. Sent Martha an email asking for her thoughts about it.

Got a possible cover from the cover designer for the poetry book. It's awesome! I let her know I'd like to use it.

Added more material to the new version of the haunted houses book for Nebraska and Nevada. Finished both. Also made some corrections on other areas of the book.

Wrote a chapter in the YA fantasy novel.

Submitted my dark fantasy novel to a publisher. This is the “vampire horror novel” that I finished revising in April. I don’t think it’s horror – more of dark fantasy.

Added more material to the new version of the haunted houses book. Started work on the sections for Missouri and Montana and finished both of them. Also had located that journalist who said I could use his photos on LinkedIn. We connected and I sent him a message about what happened with the pictures. Gave him my email address about communicating about the pictures/interview/book on there instead of LinkedIn. (After that MySpace debacle, I don’t trust LinkedIn to keep my messages there!) (Trust no one!)

Got a response from the cover designer for the poetry book. She can get it done soon. Yay! Let her know that that sounded good.

Did some more writing in one of the chapters for the nonfiction book, FWTW.

Did some research for the nonfiction book, TLBTH. Made some notes for a chapter based on this research.

Printed out a couple of articles to use for research for End Game.

Wrote another chapter in the YA fantasy novel.

Added more material to the new version of the haunted houses book. Started work on the sections for Minnesota and Mississippi and finished both of them.

Printed out the contents info for End Game which Martha sent so that I could keep my research for this book more focused on what Martha wants the book to cover.

Read over what I have so far of the YA fantasy novel. Made some notes on things to work on and fix. Also touched up the chapters a bit, as there were errors. Was talking about using fantasy creatures in my story with my kids – instead of things like horses and cows – and my youngest came up with ideas for two types of creatures and he drew them then said I could use them in the story. My oldest also handed over drawings of creatures that I can include in this story. Yay! I am excited to use them!
