Started rewriting a chapter in the book on prayer. The book has changed its audience so I am changing this chapter to slant it for that audience.

Today I realized something: The book on prayer IS NOT working because it is not being written for a specific audience. It needs to have a specific audience. I have been communicating with someone about this book who in the past suggested that I slant it for a particular audience. I thought about that a lot today and about the problems I’ve been having with the writing of this book. I think it needs to have its own audience. So that is how I will slant the book. I let that person know and I changed the book’s chapters to reflect this new slant. I would have done some more writing in this book but it’s been a bad day and I’ve been dealing with depression. I am no longer a religious person and I’m not even a Christian anymore. All the judgments and hate just drove me away. Don’t want to be a part of that. Even so, if God can help me out with my depression, that would be great. Would be nice to not be so depressed all the time.

I was going to abandon my plan to finish writing the remaining WIPs for this year. Something happened that threw me into a deep state of depression for a couple of days and I was ready to give up on it all.

But damn my numbers fixation. It wouldn't let me just drop everything and walk away.

That said, I worked on a chapter for the book about prayer, which is the book I planned to finish writing this month.

(P.S. It is BECAUSE of my numbers fixation AND the fact that Martha is counting on me that I will continue with the work.)
