Yesterday, I spent some time outlining what happens in
the remaining chapters of the novel that I have been working on this month. The
one that I planned to finish writing. But the more I thought about it later in
the day, the more I hated it. I didn't want that stuff to happen! Yuck! And so
last night, I pretty much decided to ditch the book. I woke up this morning
with that same conviction! But, later, as I was driving my daughter to work, I
thought more about it. And I realized that I can just change the ending of the
story! It can be something that I prefer a lot better and it was actually
something that I LIKED! By the time I got back home, I still liked these new
ideas for the remaining chapters, so I decided to run with that. After
breakfast, I sat down at the computer, opened the file and started typing. I
wrote the remaining chapters and this novel is now DONE! Yay!
Added more material to the New York section of the new
version of the haunted houses book. Finished New York.
